Emma and Chris Leeke reach Mount Everest base camp

Emma and Chris Leeke have scaled the slopes of the world’s biggest mountain, reaching Mount Everest Base Camp – raising over £21,500 for Leekes’ official charity, the NSPCC.

Last week Emma, Managing Director at Leekes and brother Chris, Director of Central Operations at the south Wales-based retailer, completed the 5,364 metre fundraiser to the Nepal camp with a group from the children’s charity.

The climb to Mount Everest base Camp has seen Emma and Chris raise nearly half of the yearly £50,000 they raise yearly for the NSPCC – while the other 12 fellow trekkers have also raised a further £120,00 for charity.
