Leekes adds Caerphilly Garden Centre concession to expansion plans
Leekes, the award-winning independent retailer, has added Caerphilly Garden Centre to its portfolio of conservatory and glazing concessions.
The news follows on from last weeks expansion announcement, the first phase of which will see the business open conservatory, glazing and kitchen concessions at three of Wyevale’s garden centres in Bristol, Somerset and Swindon.
In addition to the concessions in the South West, Leekes plans to join forces with Caerphilly Garden Centre with the new concession operational by the end of February. The family-owned garden centre is very well established in the area and has over 200,000 visitors every year.
In the Autumn of 2008, the Leekes Group announced news of a £37m funding agreement with Barclays Bank to support the growth of its retail operation as well as the hospitality and leisure sector of the business, the Vale Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort. The Group is actively pursuing opportunities for additional sites for its department stores and hopes to make an announcement in the near future regarding location and format.
