LEEKES SPONSORS LLANTRISANT AFC UNDER 14s

Leekes has sponsored Llantrisant AFC under 14s team with a brand new kit for the current season – November 2009

The award-winning retailer was approached for support by the club’s committee and decided to sponsor the under 14s due to the close links the business has with the locality within which the club is centred.

Llantrisant AFC coach, Tom Bell, says “We are delighted that Leekes has helped to support us in this way and we’d like to say a huge thank you. The prestige of being associated with a strong local brand such as Leekes really helps to raise the profile of the club. The 2009/10 season has started well for the under 14s and the new kit has helped to give them a really strong identity as a team. We have high hopes of winning a trophy this season and are already into the semi-final of the League Cup.”

Founded in 1986, Llantrisant AFC compete in the Taff Ely and Rhymney Valley league and finished third in the league last year and second the year prior – with no yellow or red cards awarded.
