Family-owned retailer Leekes has announced that they will be investing in refurbishing their store on Beanacre Road, Melksham in an important year for the business as they celebrate their 125th year and their 30th year in Melksham.  The store will open its doors for its £5 million store refurbishment sale to invited guests only for a one day sale preview on its furniture floor on Thursday 28th July before re-opening to the general public on Friday 29th July.

Emma Leeke, Managing Director said, “We are delighted to invite our previous customers back to the store to enjoy our private sale. We are so grateful for their support over very many years and wanted to reward them with the opportunity to have the first chance to select from our Refurbishment Sale bargains. We are looking forward to welcoming many of them to take advantage of the biggest sale savings we have offered and also snap up some of the great prices on ex-display furniture, bathrooms & kitchens as well as end of line carpets.”

The team at Leekes Melksham have a full refurbishment of their furniture and bed floor planned for September and, with many new inspirational displays of sofas, dining and bedroom furniture on order, need to clear many current ranges at significantly reduced prices.

Darren Clements, store manager said, “We are looking forward to starting our store refurbishment in September which will see a re-modelled furniture floor, new carpet and flooring departments as well as new clothing brands in store. During our 30 years in Melksham, we have built an unrivalled reputation our inspirational displays and excellent levels of customer service and it is important that we continue to retain this.“
