Leekes Llantrisant May and June update

If you are a regular customer of our Llantrisant store, you will notice that things are constantly on the move in preparation for the next phase of our exciting store refurbishment. What was once our furniture floor, home to sofas, chairs, dining sets, beds & bedroom furniture plus our home textile department is now empty meaning construction work is imminent – and yes, that will mean the long-awaited, new roof!

The entrance to the store will continue to be via the garden centre entrance throughout the refurbishment and as always, we thank you for your patience whilst these developments take place. When entering the store you will immediately notice some massive changes, with the above-mentioned departments now fully settled in their temporary home, in what was previously our home improvements area.

Our main priority throughout this project will always be you, our customers and all departments continue to remain open. If you can’t find what you are looking for, be sure to ask a member of the team who will be more than happy to help.

Ground floor changes:

Furniture & bedrooms

The largest change in store to date is the movement of our furniture floor. As mentioned above, it is now temporarily located in a newly decorated area as you enter the main building through our garden centre. Rest assured, you’ll still be able to shop for the furniture brands you love including G Plan Upholstery, Parker Knoll, Alexander & James, Sleepeezee, Casa, Nolte, and many more. The department has also been adorned with lamps and pictures to help inspire you with ideas on how to complete your look. We’ve already received some positive feedback from our customers about the new layout and we can’t wait for you to discover it for yourselves.

Home accessories

If you’re looking to refresh your home or complement your furniture, you can now find our home accessories department incorporated amongst our furniture ranges. The accessories can be shopped on the various shelving units, and don’t be afraid to pick up your purchase from the displays.

Carpets

You’ll now find our selection of carpets and rugs temporarily located where the bathroom accessories department used to be, to the right of the conservatory displays and situated just across from the bathroom department. Our normal services continue and our carpet experts are available to help you find just what you are looking for.

Clothing & fitness

A selection of clothing and fitness accessories can now be found on the ground floor, just opposite the main exit and till point.

First floor changes:

Home textiles & design studio

With the area of the store ready for development, these departments have been relocated to the first floor, to the right of our Mezz Cafe. You will continue to find our gorgeous selection of bedding, curtains, cushions, and throws and if you’re looking for something a little bit more bespoke, our interior design expert is on hand to assist you. Our designer can help you to create an interior scheme that suits your home, lifestyle, and style preferences. You can also book a free appointment online by clicking here. The first floor is wheelchair accessible when using the lift, next to the staircase.

Bathroom accessories

Sitting alongside our home textiles is our bathroom accessories department where you can still shop for all your bathroom essentials. Towels, mirrors, toilet, and shower accessories can all be found here. Remember, if you can’t find what you’re looking for our team are on hand to help.

Hammonds fitted bedrooms

Another change in store is the movement of our Hammonds fitted bedroom studio. You will now find this located next to the right of the kitchen department. The newly fitted studio will be open at the end of May but should you want to visit sooner, you can visit the Hammonds showroom at our Cardiff store on Newport Road.
