The Excellence in Housewares Awards recognise and reward the UK’s top housewares retailers.
In 2016, Leekes were named winners of the ‘Excellence in Retail Initiative’ award for the success of our Privilege Card scheme, and in 2017, Leekes was recognised as the ‘Best Specialist Multiple Retailer’. This year, we are proud to announce that Leekes is a finalist for Multiple or Small Group Retailer of the Year!
The Excellence in Housewares Awards are owned and organised by Progressive Housewares magazine and HousewaresNews.net – from the Max Publishing Group in London. Widely regarded and recognised as the ‘Oscars’ for the housewares sector, the awards shine the spotlight on both retailers for their retailing excellence as well as suppliers for their product innovation and service acumen. These include: Retailer Awards for retailers of housewares products, Product Awards for new ranges or new individual products, and Special Awards for service, marketing, innovation, iconic products and honorary achievement.
The Excellence in Housewares Retailer Finalists were decided on as a result of an exhaustive industry-wide poll of housewares suppliers along with self-nominations and submissions in certain categories. These were then short-listed before being validated by a panel of industry experts.
The Excellence in Housewares Awards 2021 will return as a live event on Wednesday 6th October 2021.
