Leekes raises over £500 for the NSPCC on Childhood Day

Leekes is proud to announce that it has raised over £500 for the NSPCC during Childhood Day on 7th June 2024. Both the Leekes Head Office and the Melksham store teams enthusiastically participated in various fundraising activities to support the NSPCC’s vital work in protecting children.

At Leekes HQ, a day packed with activities saw employees rolling up their sleeves to offer car washing, displaying their skills in a bake sale, and hosting an exciting raffle. Some of the team also demonstrated their commitment to the cause by participating in the one mile walk for Childhood, embodying the spirit of the day with every step.

The Melksham store team joined in the fun by wearing green for the day and with their own bake sale which contributed to the total funds raised. The collective efforts of both locations highlight the support shown to the Leekes corporate charity and the generosity of Leekes team who continue to support the cause.

We are thrilled to have raised more much needed funds for the NSPCC,” said Emma Leeke, Managing Director of Leekes Retail.

The enthusiasm and support from our team was incredible, and we are proud to contribute to the NSPCC’s mission of protecting children.”

The money raised will go towards the NSPCC’s various initiatives which provide essential services and support to children and families in need. The Leekes team are committed to continuing its support for the NSPCC and have recently hosted a charity golf & spa day at the Vale Resort later.
