We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to join our team

We are looking for a highly motivated, commercially focused retail manager with excellent people management and retail skills.

Working as part of the senior store management team, you will contribute to the general running of the Coventry store, assuming responsibilities for the furniture, bedroom, flooring, interior design and home textiles departments.

The Role

  • Driving individual sales performance including the selling of ad-ons.
  • Developing and establishing the “brand” within the area by ensuring your team deliver high standards of customer care that will delight our customers.
  • Controlling departmental costs including salary budgets and stock losses.
  • Supporting the training of staff across the department

The Person

  • Retail experience gained within a fast paced, sales driven environment is essential
  • Experience of running a department or section etc. including managing staff is essential
  • Able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the home furniture industry

We are currently recruiting for a full time lead taker to join our sales team in our Conservatories, Windows and Doors Department

The role requires the successful applicant to be:

  • The primary point of contact for customers visiting the showroom

  • Arranging an in store or at home customer appointment with a Sales Consultant who will design the conservatory or windows.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensure customers are acknowledged and provided with attentive and courteous service
  • Ensure sales leads are taken for the Sales Consultant and home visits booked within agreed timescales
  • Advise customers on bathroom purchases
  • Sell standalone bathrooms products and tiles achieving the weekly sales targets
  • Maximise sales by promoting link sales/selling up e.g. tiles and associated products

Due to exceptional business levels in our Coventry store we are looking to recruit a full time Furniture Sales Consultant to take the business forward. Our Showroom has over 200 fantastic items on display and we work with brands such as G-Plan, Erkol, Silentnight and our own very Casa range.

Our Conservatories and Glazing Department are recruiting for an experienced Installation Manager

The succesful candidate will be required to work full time, based in our Coventry store and cover the East and West Midlands area.

Working alongside our team of specialised surveyors and sales managers you will be directly responsible for;

  • Liaising with the customers on all aspects of the Conservatories and Glazing project build
  • Liaising with base teams, fitters and tradesmen on project build and timings, inspecting throughout to assure the quality of the installation, including final sign off
  • Maintaining communication with the customers until the building project is completed
  • Reviewing project costings to manage profitability
  • Maintain budgets and manage debts

For this role, we’re looking for:

  • Industry experience

Work is provided on a sub-contracted basis and previous installation experience is essential, as is a smart approach and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

This is a self employed role, although we offer consistent levels of work with prompt weekly payment. We also provide a company vehicle.
