We are currently recruitng for a full time Sales Advisor to work in our Garden Centre at the Llantrisant store.

Working as part of the store retail team in the Garden Living Department, you will contribute to the department by:

  • Keeping the Garden Centre area tidy and well maintained, including the maintenance of the plants we stock
  • Ensuring all customers are acknowledged and provided with attentive and courteous service at all times
  • Advising and assisting customers with their plant choices and purchases using your horticultural knowledge
  • Merchandising the department, managing stock levels and the department promotions
  • Maintaining a high standard of departmental product knowledge

For this role, we're looking for:

  • Experience in horticultural maintenance and gardening
  • Passionate about delivering a high standard of service
  • A keen eye for detail, highly organised and motivated
  • Well presented, confident, with a positive can do attitude

The successful candidate will be available to work up to 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

We are currently looking to recruit a Furniture Sales Consultant at our Leekes of Llantrisant Store.

Our stunning furniture department featuring upholstery and cabinet brands such as Stress less, Halo and G Plan as well as our own Casa range, offers modern, traditional and contemporary styles of living as well as featuring an extensive choice of furntiure and cabinets to choose from.

Your duties will be varied, and include:

  • Promoting the features and benefits of the products
  • Maximising sales opportunities
  • Ensuring customers receive the highest standards of service
  • Selling our Finance & Warranty products
  • Achieving sales targets for Furniture & Finance Products
     

It would be preferred if the successful candidate has previous experience of working in a retail/customer service environment and has sales experience, particularly within Furniture.
Above all, you must be able to demonstrate:

Your duties will be varied and include:

  • Building rapport with the customer to design the bathroom of their choice
  • Planning the bathroom using our 20/20 design system
  • Maximising sales opportunities and continuously delivering a high standard of customer service.

It would be preferred if the successful candidate has previous experience of working in a retail/customer service environment and has sales experience, particularly within Bathrooms & Tiles.

Duties will be varied and include:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Improving sales by delivering excellent customer service to local builders;tradesmen, and DIY enthusiasts.
  • Receiving deliveries, unloading and loading store delivery trucks and customer vehicles.
  • Manual handling and moving building stock.
  • Serving customers, dealing with enquiries and offering advice on the trade counter and the yard area.

For this role, we're looking for:

  • Unexpired, full,clean,UK /EEA or Swiss driving licence is essential
  • Counter balance and Reach Fork Lift qualification preferred
  • HGV qualified preferred but training will be provided for the successful candidate
  • Good communication skills
