We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to work in our Conservatories & Windows department

We currently have a vacancy for a competent Warehouse Operative working as part of the Conservatories, Windows and Doors Department in our Warehouse team in Coventry.

Main Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the safe loading and unloading of products including glass and building materials
  • Ensure goods are received into the store from central warehouse, stores and supplier with the correct documentation attached and the booking in process completed in line with company procedures
  • Ensure goods are visually inspected and any damaged goods rejected and the paperwork completed in line with company procedures
  • Ensure that all goods are labelled correctly and stored in the correct location
  • Ensure that goods are neatly stored to minimise damage and where appropriate rotated to minimise stock deterioration

This a full time, permanant role and the successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week on a weekly rota which may include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Working as part of the retail team, you will offer admin support to the Store Manager, HR Advisor and store teams.

Your duties will be varied and include:

  • Arranging and taking minutes for all instore meetings, Health and safety meetings, Team Talk.
  • Controlling all stationary and uniform orders, creating and maintaining  excel spreadsheets for monitoring of issue and orders.
  • PA duties to store manager including letter writing and phone calls to suppliers and customers.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join the Conservatory and Double Glazing Department full time.

The main aim of this role is to help coordinate and support the Conservatory and Double Glazing Department and be an integral part of our customer service and administration team.

You will work alongside our experienced Installation Managers, Surveyors, Fitters and Salesman, offering support and administering a high standard of customer care at all levels, ranging from customer communication to cost controls.

Your duties will be varied and will include:

  • Communicating with customers throughout their installation process to coordinate, update and answer any queries
  • Assisting the  team in coordinating the installation by updating and completing daily administrative tasks
  • Liaising with suppliers to order, arrange, monitor and chase deliveries
  • Supporting the Installation Manager by assisting with the management of debt and the collection stage payments
  • Providing a high level of customer service

For this role we're looking for:

  • Computer literate and fully competent in Microsoft Office
  • Proven experience working within an administrative role and busy office environment
