Gin and Elderflower Sherbert

Ingredients

• 50ml elderflower cordial
• 50ml good quality gin
• 1 handful ice
• 150ml bitter lemon
• A few strips of lemon zest

Instructions

• 1. Mix the elderflower cordial and gin together in a small glass or cup.
• 2. Crush the ice by placing it in a tea towel or plastic food bag, tie it, and then bash with a rolling pin.
• 3. Add the ice to a cocktail glass then pour over the gin mixture.
• 4. Top with bitter lemon and a few strips of lemon zest. Serve as a refreshing cocktail.
