In 1946, after the War, there was a severe shortage of paper so cleverly, Harold Graham and Henry Brown obtained large amounts of metallic paper, an eight-colour surface printer and an embossing machine, which they began creating wallpaper from; it was this that began a wallpaper revolution. The company prospered quickly and have since become one of the largest independent wallpaper manufactures in Britain.
