Which layout would work best with a green kitchen?

Green kitchens make a statement. Many home renovators with large or open-planned spaces choose dark green kitchens because it looks sophisticated, especially when it complements a dining table or sitting room. Think U-shapes and L-shaped designs with plenty of cabinet storage. Pair with an island for further room to prepare dishes but to also create a lovely social atmosphere.

Will a dark green kitchen suit my small space?

That’s not to say dark green wouldn’t suit smaller kitchens, however. Our advice is to opt for white or marble countertops to brighten up the space. These colours and textures will be sure to pair well together. Or, if you like the idea of a green kitchen but aren’t sold on deep green, light and sage greens are popular colours that will make your space look brighter. They’re very much in style and adapt well to many décor styles.
