Invented in 1970 by Henri Peteri, the boiling-water tap has become an indispensable kitchen tool. The Quooker tap was the very first boiling-water tap in the world and remains a family firm to this day.

Quooker believes that it is important to care for people and the planet. Although it may feel like a luxury to draw boiling, chilled and sparkling water from the tap, a Quooker is a sustainable purchase. Using less water and energy whilst also reducing plastic waste. Find out more about the full Quooker range on offer in our kitchen showrooms plus latest innovations below.

The Quooker system consists of a small tank in the kitchen cupboard that is linked to the boiling water tap on the worktop. The tank acts like a vacuum flask connected to the water mains. The air in the insulated wall is so thin that the heat is unable to escape. The Quooker tank uses a patented stainless steel, pressurised, highly insulated system that stores the water at 110 degrees Celsius. This means that every delivery is at the true 100 degrees boiling point.

It therefore takes very little energy (just 10 watts) to keep the water in the tank at 110°C. The water only starts to boil when the tap is turned on and the temperature of the outflowing water drops to 100°C. While the water is flowing out of the tap, fresh water immediately flows into the tank.

Costing just 3 pence a day to store instant boiling water, the Quooker tap uses patented high-vacuum insulation for a beautifully efficient way of producing both hot and boiling water.

The tank is easily accessible under the worktop and can even be opened and cleaned. This is completely safe and ensures your Quooker boiling water tap lasts longer. In addition, every delivery of boiling water is filtered by the Patented HiTac filter ensuring that each delivery is as fresh as possible.

At Leekes, we always recommend a Quooker tap for your kitchen. Innovative and versatile, there are many reasons why this is a must-have appliance for your kitchen. Quooker taps can also be retro-fitted in to existing kitchens so you don’t have to always wait for a new kitchen to enjoy the benefits.

Whilst there is nothing wrong with your traditional kettle, the Quooker adds so much more to your household and lifestyle.

Boiling water, straight from the tap, is that safe? Quooker’s response is that their appliance is the safest choice for every household.

Each Quooker system features a child-safe handle ensuring the tap will never automatically dispense boiling water. There is also added safety in the form of insulation meaning that you won’t run the risk of burning yourself. Unlike a kettle or saucepan there is no risk of boiling water being tipped over.

As well as exceptional safety the Quooker tap is also extremely versatile and convenient.

Make hot drinks in an instant and prepare food dishes with ease. With the Quooker CUBE you can also dispense chilled, sparkling and still water. A Quooker is a must have appliance for your home, and one we recommend with every fitted kitchen at Leekes.

An active carbon filter in the reservoir purifies the water leaving all impurities behind. Any chlorine or bacteria is removed meaning a better taste from the first drop.

Quooker is the most energy efficient hot water appliance for your kitchen. Anyone who needs boiling water several times a day will not use more energy with a Quooker than a kettle.

With a Quooker in the kitchen, you save water and energy by using only water you need and with a CUBE, you help to reduce the use of disposable plastic bottles.

A Quooker gets you a little closer to that coveted empty worktop. The Quooker tank is round and extremely compact, so you have plenty of room left in your kitchen cupboard.

The Nordic Twintaps are available in both round and square designs and polished chrome and stainless steel finishes.

With the new CUBE, you can now also dispense sparkling and chilled water from the Quooker tap.

The new function makes life in the kitchen even easier. It saves you time and space, it means you no longer need to use plastic bottles and it is completely safe. To dispense sparkling water, press and turn at the same time. The illuminated ring that turns red to indicate boiling water now flashes blue: sparkling water comes out of the tap. And if you hold down the button for slightly longer and then turn it, you get filtered water. So it’s impossible to dispense boiling water when you want sparkling water.

The CUBE can be installed at the bottom of the kitchen cabinet next to the Quooker tank. It includes two filters that make the water just as pure as the bottled water you buy in the shop. The CUBE is attached to a COcylinder that gives you 60 litres of sparkling water from your Quooker tap.

The boiling water tap for the CUBE is available in combination with all Quooker taps. We supply one COcylinder as standard. When the water jet slows down and there is less carbon dioxide in the water, it means that the CO2 cylinder needs to be replaced. You can easily order new cylinders through our webshop. You can return empty CO₂ cylinders to Quooker free of charge. The filters in the CUBE tank last for around one year. When the tank starts to beep, it is time for new filters.

The CUBE supplies sparkling and chilled water and means you no longer have to buy water in plastic bottles. To obtain sparkling water, a Quooker COcylinder must be connected to the CUBE.

Purchase a Quooker tap and have it installed by one of their inhouse expert engineers for just £99
