Balance Payments
How will I pay my balance?
You’ll receive a secure payment link via email and/or SMS from Leekes. This may arrive up to 30 days before your delivery date and will include your order number, so you’ll know it’s from us. If your balance hasn’t been paid, we’ll send you a friendly reminder as your delivery approaches.
Simply click the link to complete your payment online, either by card or using Open Banking.
Here's some helpful FAQs
1. What is Pay by Link?
Pay by Link is a quick and convenient way to make a payment online. You’ll receive a secure link via email or text, simply click the link, check the amount, and complete your payment using your preferred method.
2. What is Open Banking?
Open Banking is a secure technology that allows you to make payments directly from your bank account without needing to enter card details. It connects safely to your bank and initiates the payment with your authorisation, just like a regular online transfer, but faster and easier.
3. Is it secure?
Yes, very secure. Both Pay by Link and Open Banking use encrypted connections and industry-standard security protocols. Open Banking is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, and you’ll always be asked to authorise any payment directly with your bank.
4. What if I have a query about the amount?
If something doesn’t look right, just reach out to us customercare@leekes.co.uk and we’ll be happy to help. Please include your order number to help us resolve your query as quickly as possible.
5. Will I get a receipt?
Yes, once your payment is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation and receipt by email. This will include the amount paid and reference details for your records.
6. How long is the link valid for?
The payment link is usually valid for 30 days. Please note that if payment isn’t made within 48 hours of your delivery date, your delivery may be cancelled until the balance is cleared.
7. Payment by Open Banking - can I copy and paste payment details into a separate BACS request?
Please do not copy and paste the payment details into a separate BACS request. Doing so will break the payment link, and your payment may not be registered correctly. As a result, your order could be delayed. To ensure a smooth transaction, please make your payment directly through the provided link.
