Adelene Fletcher has become famous for experimenting with new styles and techniques in her creation of specialist watercolour paintings. Initially, Fletcher’s background was in textile design and she originally graduated from the Manchester College of Art during the 50s. Adelene has received numerous awards and critical acclaim, exhibited in the Royal Institute of Painters and written and illustrated her own books.
Adelene Fletcher's compositional mastery in View To Sea, draws the eye along the perspective of the beach decking and the scudding clouds above to a vanishing point somewhere far out to sea. You can almost feel the sand between your toes.
