Our Christmas buyer, Charlotte, talks about the inspiration behind each theme and her “top picks” from each collection.
“After an extremely challenging year for retail, it has been more difficult than ever to pull together Christmas ranges at a time when no one really knew what position the country would be in. With travel not possible and showrooms closed all across the globe, we had to learn a new way of buying and select products digitally for the very first time. Choosing matching products and colour palettes for each theme without physically seeing the products was a very difficult task. Conscious that consumer shopping habits were changing and suppliers were not able to offer many new designs due to issues with production, we were still determined to pull together Christmas themes that were both inspiring and unique to previous seasons. It is so rewarding to finally be able to showcase our Christmas selections this year and provide our customers with some gorgeous ranges.“
