Situated just on the outskirts of Hanover, the Rotpunkt showroom and factory is filled with displays of classic German kitchens that prove to be a popular hit with our customers. With every visit, our designers get to experience and witness first hand the product development trends. This visit is so crucial as it allows inspiration to flow from our suppliers to our designers. Which, in return, influences what new displays we introduce into our stores.

Rotpunkt kitchens & 2019 kitchen design trends

The team returned feeling inspired as ever with plenty of new skills under their belt to boot. So these are the main trends to watch out for in 2019.

Dramatic monochrome colour palette creates a sleek contrast to your kitchen and living spaces. A trend for darker shades, including black, will adorn a many kitchen spaces with gentle tones of browns coming through to add a touch of neutral.

Metallic finishes are still a popular feature as the stunning high-end finish they give is second to none.

Maximise storage in your kitchen with high carcasses that provide versatility when it comes to kitchen planning without compromising on style and design.

In contrast to high gloss finishes, displays have been adorned with matt finishes to offer a contemporary update.

Traditional style is still in

A touch of traditional style is always welcomed when it comes to kitchen design. Amongst the sea of dark shades, natural wooden tones are also set to make an impact in 2019.
